Congrats to a team alum, Cody Acevedo, on his recent George Washington Carver Spirit of Innovation and Service award! Acevedo, a senior in animal ecology, is featured in the January 2020 issue of STORIES magazine. He participated in the IINSPIRE LSAMP program funded by NSF in 2018 and collaborated with the ISU monarch butterfly research team to conduct research with the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium. Kelsey Fisher, ISU graduate student in entomology, was his research mentor.
