Summer research with IINSPIRE at Iowa State

The fall semester began this week at Iowa State which means summer research internships are wrapping up! Our team was fortunate to collaborate with a very dedicated group of undergraduate researchers -- in the lab and in the field -- from May through August.

One of our student research assistants, Cody Acevedo presented his poster, "Monarch Larval Movement on Common Milkweed" earlier this month at the university-wide poster session for summer REU participants. Acevedo, a junior in animal ecology, is a participant in the IINSPIRE LSAMP program funded by NSF. Kelsey Fisher, ISU graduate student in entomology, is his research mentor.
