ISU STRIPS Field Day - Southeast Iowa
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Prairie STRIPS, and the Southeast Iowa Agricultural Research Association will host a field day on November 19, 2019
highlighting on-farm conservation practices, establishment and management of prairie, and enrollment in USDA programs.
Free meal provided.
Registration begins at 2:30pm, program starts at 3:00pm. Weather permitting, a controlled burn will be demonstrated on the farm's prairie strips. Directions to the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm:
Take HWY 218 south from Crawfordsville 13/4 miles, travel east on G-62 2 miles, then 3/4 mile north.
Watch for signs to the farm.
