Creating a Buzz Field Day - Iowa City
Discover the beauty of pollinator habitat during the autumn during a Creating a Buzz Field Tour.
Trees Forever and partners collaborate for this series of pollinator field days focused on establishing high quality pollinator habitat. We will tour of three planting sites that demonstrate the progression of establishment in native prairie plantings. A first year planting, second year planting and third year planting will show attendees what they could expected to see in each year following planting. More detail is available on the Trees Forever website.

Kristy and Bob Walker are converting an 80 acre piece of traditionally farmed land into a multi-crop, sustainable production operation including small grains, a vineyard, event barn for wine tastings and farm to table meals and agro-tourism events.
Please dress for the outdoors and wear appropriate clothing and shoes. This event will be rain or shine, but in the case of rain, we will be moving to a covered building.
