CCA training in the morning between 8:30 am and noon and will include a "Progress and Outlook of the Nutrient Reduction Strategy"(2 CEUs) and "Palmer amaranth ID and Management" (1 CEU). The afternoon session is open to the public and will include a presentation from the Seth Appelgate from the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium about how to merge successful farming practices with habitat for monarchs and pollinators. Other topics to be covered are a Farm and Crop Updates, Dicamba Drift and Contamination Demonstrations, and Managing Seedling Diseases in Corn.
