Iowa Learning Farms will hold a free, public field day to share information about monarch butterfly conservation. Iowa State University agricultural specialist Seth Appelgate from the Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium will share details about current research projects and opportunities to establish monarch habitat. The field day is in partnership with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Pathfinders RC and D, and Iowa Monarch Conservation Consortium.
